Hi Primary 6!

As you know, I’m away at Inverclyde with the P7s this week so I’ve kept homework straight forward for you guys. I will have my phone on me – so if you have any questions please send me an email and I’ll get back to you when I can.

Literacy

• Spelling
  Please complete at least 2 spelling activities from the Spelling Activities Challenge Cards

• Reading
  Please read the second half of your book. Answer any questions you are asked – please remember that I can see your answers and that they should be answered properly. It is important that you read the book that I assign you so that I can move you up reading bands when the time comes. If you don’t read enough books at the book band level you are currently reading at, I will not be able to do this. 

Numeracy

Please spend at least 15 minutes on Sumdog each night this week.

 

IDS – Famous American Research Task (due 19-11-2021 – or after the Nov holiday)

** YOU MAY HAND IN YOUR PROJECT BEFORE THE LONG WEEKEND OR THE TUESDAY THAT WE RETURN – YOU MAY EMAIL YOUR PROJECT TO ME AT ANY TIME**

Please continue to work on your solo talk/research task. If you have already finished, practice your presentation at home before doing it in class. I’m sure someone at home would love to hear about your learning!

I have uploaded a success criteria for you to follow – please create either a PowerPoint or Poster that you can present to the rest of the class.

In case you have forgotten who you are researching —

If you choose to create a PowerPoint you can send it to me via email or alternatively bring it in on a USB stick.

Please remember that I record any incomplete homework.
