One of our visits in Term 1 was to the Abbey Tower in Kilwinning.  First of all Christine came to tell us all about the history of Kilwinning and the Abbey.  

Then we walked up to the town and climbed 143 steps to the top of Abbey Tower.  The views were fantastic!  We found out that the Tower is over 200 years old.
