Our STEM challenge was to design a raft to hold as many gingerbread people as possible.

First we researched different boat and raft designs using the internet. We then tested a variety of different materials to see what we thought would be good to use. The material had to be able to float and be waterproof.

Our next step was to make a prototype raft and try it, if it didn’t work we were then able to problem solve and make changes.
