Our topic this term will be based on the Katie Morag books by Mairi Hedderwick. We will be looking at where Katie lives and exploring what life would be like to live on a small island. We will contrast this by exploring the world around us. We are hoping to visit the local post office to see how they distribute the mail.

Already we have received a letter from Katie Morag and have written a reply.

We have received some objects from Katie for us to weigh and estimate how much they weigh.

We decided to draw a picture of Katie Morag’s home island. The children have made a great job at drawing the houses. Just wait until you see our wall display!

We have also been busy painting a picture of Katie Morag. 

 

Come Together!

Primary 3a and 3b came together to complete a book review. We did a great job reading the book together and summarising the books.
