It is a nice short week this week, as you are only in school Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and 4 days next week (Yay!). So I have decided that this week you have 2 weeks to complete your homework.<\/span><\/h5>\n

As we are still working on summarising, I would like you to choose another book to summarise. This time I would like everyone to summarise the story in 5 sentences. We need to work on telling the key points of a story and not including every detail from it. I would like you to use the format we have been using in class and remember to answer each area in a sentence.<\/span><\/h6>\n

Somebody<\/span> – who is the main character?<\/h4>\n

Wanted<\/span> – what did they want?<\/h4>\n

But<\/span> – what was their problem?<\/h4>\n

So<\/span> – what did they do to resolve their problem?<\/h4>\n

Then<\/span> – what happened at the end?<\/h4>\n

This week in class we will be working on 2D and 3D shape. I have uploaded some games onto Education city to help you talk about the different features of shapes. Start with the 2D shape activities as this is where we will be starting in class. I have also added a learn screen to help you go over the features of 2D shape.<\/span><\/h6>\n
Just for fun I have added a couple of the addition and subtraction games for you to play and keep your number facts in your head. Feel free to play these if you want.\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>\n
