This week is Maths Week Scotland and we have been entered into the national Sumdog competition. We have to work together as a class to win this one. We can do it!<\/span><\/h6>\n

Maths in the real world<\/span><\/h4>\n
This week I would like you to do a little bit of research and find out as much as you can about where and when adults use maths in their jobs or day to day lives. You could ask your parents, grandparents, aunties or uncles, family friends, childminder or anyone else you meet during the week. You should ask as many questions as you can to find out what kind of maths they use and how they use it.\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>\n
Once you have all your information, can you think of an interesting way to share this new information with the rest of the class? You could create a poster, video, presentation, leaflet, news report or any other creative ideas you might have. We will share our learning during the week.\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>\n
