You will be delighted to know that this is the last week of homework for this term! It is also parents night phone calls this week. Please make sure you have all given your parents the appointment slip, so they are ready for my call.
Spelling
Here are your spelling words for this week. Keep practicing!
Literacy
I have been really impressed with your questioning skills and I would like you to keep practicing this. Here is another video for you to watch and make up your own questions.
Numeracy
Well done to everyone who managed to log on to SumDog this week and have a go at the challenge. A massive well done to Megan who not only completed the task but also had an accuracy of 92%. I can see a great improvement in everyone’s accuracy so a huge well done! Even if you didn’t manage to finish the full challenge I am more delighted that you have worked hard to make sure you answer what you can correctly.
This week I have set a very short assessment of your Data Analysis skills on SumDog. There are only 10 questions. Make sure you read them carefully and answer as best you can. You can then play games or log onto Education City and play some games there.

Animal Spotting
I know that many of you have been lucky enough to spot an animal and a bird already but for those of you who haven’t had a chance to complete it yet, here is the task. If you have already completed your sheet, I would like you to continue looking for animals and birds around your area. If you spot something unusual, why not try to get a picture or you could write about it on a piece of paper.
