Welcome back to term 3!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year with your families and are now ready to start working hard again.
This week we will have our spelling words, a reading job and a numeracy job.
Spelling
Remember to check out the spelling grids to see what different kinds of activities you can do to help you remember your spellings.
Reading
This week I would like you to log in to BugClub and choose a book from your new level of reading book. I would like you to read it and answer all the bugs. Make sure if it asks you to write an answer that you are writing in full sentences.
Numeracy
This week’s mental maths strategy is ‘Partitioning counting on and back’. We will be practicing this all week as our opener for each lesson. Here are some questions for you to practice at home. Feel free to write your answers in your jotter, on paper or on a tablet/laptop.
