P3/4 Homework 2021-22

Homework will be uploaded onto the class blog each week. We will go over it in class on Monday and you should try to complete it throughout the week. You will have a jotter to complete any written tasks. Due to Covid-19 this jotter should stay at home and not be returned to school. Feel free to take pictures of anything you have completed and email it to Mrs Munro.

Spelling

Each week you will have a list of spelling words. You should try to complete at least 1 active spelling job to help you remember your words and spelling pattern. See the attached active spelling activities grid for some ideas. Feel free to make up your own activities as well.

Reading

You will be assigned a few books to your BugClub account. Try to read and answer the bugs for one book each week to help with your reading skills. Remember Mrs Munro will be looking at how you are answering the bugs, so try your best for each question. This will support the reading that we will be doing in class. If you need more books assigned please let Mrs Munro know.

Numeracy

This will be a variety of SumDog challenges, Education City games and active activities uploaded onto the class blog. Make sure you check the blog each week to see what activity you have to complete each week.

Topic

Some weeks you will have a topic activity to complete as well. Make sure to check the blog for the details.

Logins

All of your logins have been sent home in your digital passport. You have also been given class blog address, the school website and Mrs Munro’s email address. If you have any issues at all please feel free to email Mrs Munro.
