Term 2

This term we have been using SHORS reading strategies when reading. We have been looking at prediction and working out what a story is about by looking for clues.

We have been learning about proper and common nouns and are getting confident at
recognising nouns when reading from a text. We have also been using speech bubbles to write about what someone is saying.

In writing we have been focusing on setting and character. We described a spooky house setting and wrote about our playground using our senses. In terms of characters, we described a witch for Halloween.
