A guide for parents and Carers\u201d leaflet below. The approach aims to build capacity, resilience and skills in children and young people to prevent and deal with bullying.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/na\/northayrshirecouncilexpectrespect\/\">Expect Respect<\/a><\/h3>\n<h2>Bullying in schools<\/h2>\n<div class=\"page-body\">\n<h3>What is bullying?<\/h3>\n<p>Bullying can be abuse or harassment of varying kinds including name calling, threats and physical violence.<\/p>\n<h3>Report bullying<\/h3>\n<p>If your child is the victim of bullying at school, you and your child should report the incident to your child&#8217;s teacher or another member of staff.<\/p>\n<p>The school will investigate and gather evidence of the bullying that has gone on. They will do all they can to find a lasting solution.<\/p>\n<h3>Our anti-bullying policy<\/h3>\n<p>Our anti-bullying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northayr-edpsychs.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/antibullyingpolicy.pdf\">policy<\/a> aims to ensure all North Ayrshire Schools quickly and effectively deal with incidents of bullying.
