Scarecrow Painting!

We have been learning about the Harvest festival. We learned that farmers use scarecrows to scare the birds away from eating their crops. We drew our own scarecrows and painted them nice bright colours.

This week we celebrated Roald Dahl day by reading the, ‘Enormous Crocodile’. We talked about how mean and nasty the crocodile was playing the nasty tricks on the children. We then made posters to warn everyone about the evil crocodile. Mrs Murray thought our posters were amazing. We also drew and painted the crocodile and used lego to make the enormous crocodile.

Topic Art

This week we have been learning how nurses and doctors can help us. We looked at what would happen if we had hurt our arm. We then worked with a partner to create our own x-ray hand picture using chalk and cotton buds. Mrs Murray was impressed with our team work skills.
