Today we had our Christmas service. Allie read a reading and we sang one of our show songs to our parents.
Allie said, ‘I had to speak in a clear voice and I enjoyed doing the reading.’
This week we have been doing lots of different maths activities. We enjoy leaning through different activities.

Eva said, ‘I liked when I had to make sure I had the same patterns on both sides of my Christmas trees.’
We had a wonderful Christmas party. We danced to music, had a visit from Santa and played party games. It was so much fun!

Allie achieved a playground Healthy certificate for having a healthy snack at playtime.
Niamh achieved an achieving certificate for her wonderful Elf application form in writing.
Kayla achieved a successful learner certificate for her super work on adding to 10.
We all wore our Christmas jumpers and had a Christmas school dinner on Wednesday.
Eoighan said, ‘I liked wearing my Christmas jumper. I wore an Olaf jumper”.
Ellie Atherton said, ‘I liked wearing my Christmas dress”.
Isla said, ”The Christmas lunch was yummy”.
We have had a great time performing our school show, ‘Whoops-A-Daisy Angel’ to our mummies and daddies. Our mummies and daddies said we were wonderful. Mrs Murray, Miss McRonald and Miss Lewis are so proud of us.
Lee said, ‘My mum was so happy with how well I stood holding my star.’
Allie said, ‘My mum and dad said it was fantastic.’
Isla said, ‘My Gran and Grampa said I was fantastic.’

We have been reading the story, ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’. We have really enjoyed reading the story and created our own clay owl models.
