We were very excited to go to the library. It was our first trip in P1. We had to get a bus to the library. When we were there, we listened to 3 stories and made bunny masks. We got very messy using lots of glitter to make our masks. We all had a fantastic time.
”I liked it when we made our bunny masks and I put glitter on mine,” said Naomi.
”I liked when we went on the bus because it was fun and exciting,” said Allie.

Ryan achieved an active certificate for being active in the playground at break times.
Adam achieved an achieving certificate for learning all his keywords.
Kayden achieved an effective contributor certificate for being able to work as part of a group and share his ideas.
This week our parents came into our class to see how well we are doing with our reading. We showed them how we have been learning to visualise and discuss what we think is happening when we listen to a story. It was great to work with our parents to complete our reading activities. We also showed our parents some of the games we play on the smart board to help us with our learning.
”I liked it when my mummy and Joseph came and I could show them what I have been doing,” said Isla.
”I liked that my gran came and I could do my reading with my gran,” said Joshua.

We have been learning about the different seasons. We learned that there are 4 seasons and the coldest season is Winter and the warmest season is Summer. We created Autumn and Spring trees by painting a tree trunk and using cotton buds to dot paint the leaves. It was great fun and we got very messy.
