Pupils in S4-6 can choose to further their knowledge in physical education and can choose to complete the certificated 1 year course at National 4 or National 5 Level. The course comprises of four lessons per week with a mixture of practical and theory (usually a 3:1 split).

National 4

Mainly a practical course but pupils will need to complete a Factors Impacting Performance workbook

National 5

Pupils will complete the same course work and practical as the National 4 but will also complete a portfolio that is sent to the SQA for external marking
