National Smile Power Day

On June 15th each year, National Smile Power Day shares one powerful expression.

When you smile at someone, you are telling them that they are valued and worth the smile that you just gave them. Smiles are morale boosters and confidence builders.

Why not challenge yourself to smile more often today or make a poster telling me all the things that make you smile.

I am really looking forward to seeing your posters!

Numeracy/Maths Centres

Today, I would like you to complete the Number Facts Centre.

Please find all the sums that add together to make 10.

It is really important that you know your number bonds to 10, for example 8+2=10, 6+4=10 etc.  This knowledge will help you greatly in the future.

If you don’t have a printer, just write down all the sums that make 10 on a piece of paper or jotter provided.

Happy Hunting!
