Literacy

We are going to be learning about NOUNS today.

A NOUN is a NAMING word- it is the name of a PERSON, PLACE or THING.

Please watch the video below.

Now, I would like you to roll a dice and complete one of the Noun activities found in the chart below.

I would love to see your work.

Numeracy/Maths Centres

Today, I would like you to complete the Spiral Review Centre.

Please choose and complete a measure activity from the box below.

Remember the Rules of Measurement;

1.  The objects you choose to measure with must be the SAME SIZE.

2.  Start measuring from the EDGE of the object.

3.  There should be NO OVERLAPPING or SPACES between the objects you are using to measure.

I would love to see your work.

Miss McCann says…

Hi everyone. How are you all doing? I hope you had a nice day off on Friday and were able to celebrate VE day.

Your Teachers will put work on Glow every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Try to do what you can and post your work on the class blog. Please try to keep in touch with your class friends and class teacher. Send us pictures of all the fun activities you have been doing during lockdown. I am missing you all so much boys and girls and hopefully it will not be long until we see each other again.

Please email me anytime you wish on gw09mccannpenelope@ea.n-ayrshire.sch.uk

Your parents or carers can also email me with any questions or concerns.

Have a great week boys and girls. I hope the weather stays nice so you can play outside and help in the garden.
