Pupils are encouraged to participate in sport through opportunities in PE, NASA and via our Active Schools Coordinator.\u00a0 <\/span>We recognise the positive impact that sport can have\u202fon a pupil’s health, educational attainment and life chances and promote participation in extra-curricular clubs at interval, lunchtime and after school.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>There are football,\u00a0<\/span>volley<\/span>ball,\u00a0<\/span>gymnastics, dance, cricket, fitness training and hockey\u00a0<\/span>clubs available.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last session <\/span>we secured \u00a31000 of additional funding for Dance through North Ayrshire Council Participatory Budgeting.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Sports Leaders lead clubs in primary schools and in Greenwood Academy.\u00a0 Below is an example of some of the clubs they are involved in leading.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
