Gàidhlig Medium Education started within North Ayrshire in August 2020 at Whitehirst Park Primary School in Kilwinning.  The department started with Primary 1 and 2 learners.  The department has continued to develop and the school is now able to provide Gaidhlig Medium Education to learners from primary 1 – 7.

This blog provides information to parents and carers whose children are learning through Gàidhlig Medium Education and for parents and carers who are considering GME for their children.
