Named after Scottish islands, our Houses are:

Arran         Cumbrae              Bute             Skye

Our House system is an integral part of our school community and links closely with our school values.  House tokens are awarded throughout the school year to children who demonstrate honesty, determination, kindness and respect.

Children are allocated to a House when they start in Primary 1.  Siblings are in the same House.

At the beginning of each school year, Primary 7 pupils are given the opportunity to put themselves forward to be House Captain.  They must then write a manifesto and read it aloud to the pupils in their House.  A ballot then takes place and the pupil with the highest number of votes becomes House Captain.  The second highest number of votes becomes Vice Captain.
