The Timekeeper’s Journal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Max Thompson had always been fascinated by clocks. His bedroom was filled with them\u2014old pocket watches, sleek digital clocks, and even a large, ornate grandfather clock that had been in his family for generations. But the most intriguing timepiece in his collection was one he had found at a dusty antique shop downtown. It was a small, brass pocket watch, unlike any he had ever seen. The face was covered in strange symbols instead of numbers, and no matter how many times he wound it, the hands never seemed to move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Saturday afternoon, Max decided to take the watch apart to see if he could figure out why it didn\u2019t work. As he carefully pried open the back, a small piece of folded parchment fell out. Curious, Max unfolded it, revealing a series of intricate diagrams and notes scribbled in a language he didn\u2019t recognize. But one word stood out clearly at the top: Timekeeper<\/em>. Beneath it, a single line of text read, \u201cTurn the hands to midnight, and the journey begins.\u201d Max’s heart skipped a beat. What journey? With trembling fingers, he adjusted the watch\u2019s hands to midnight. The moment they clicked into place, the room around him began to blur and spin, and Max realized he was about to find out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Max slowly opened his eyes and he saw something but couldn’t quite make it out however he did know that he wasn’t in his bedroom anymore. Soon he could make it out that he was in another world completely then he saw a horrifying sight a huge clock monster and slowly his clock floated away and joined the monster to make \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a giant clock that had a very Very VERY scary mouth sharp teeth disgusting eyes with a LOT of sleep in them and very sharp claws, Max realized that he had to get back so he quickly looked at the clock to try set the time back but he couldn’t remember what time it was\u2026He thought to himself “!come on please remember the time” but suddenly the monster got closer and closer but then\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BLACK. Was he dead already? Was he being digested by this monster? He could here voices, though. He wriggled his body then sat up. He could move. He was alive! “MAX! Dinner!” mum called. He was home! He ran down stairs joyfully, Spaghetti Bolognese aromas filling his nostrils. Yum! he thought. He had his dinner, bolting it down. He didn’t tell him ma and pa about his adventures, that was a secret. What would happen next? he thought as he went to bed. He wasn’t sure, but he would find out tomorrow. He fell asleep, unaware he was falling down as if his bed had opened up, swallowing him. Down, down, down back into the darkness\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
