Deep within the heart of the Emberwood Forest, hidden from human eyes, there was a thriving kingdom where animals of all kinds lived in harmony. The Great Council, made up of representatives from every species, gathered once a month under the ancient Ember Tree to discuss the well-being of their realm. The kingdom had flourished for centuries, guarded by the wisdom of the elders and the bravery of the Guardians—a select group of animals tasked with protecting Emberwood’s deepest secrets.
But lately, something had changed. The once vibrant Ember Tree, whose roots nourished the entire forest, had begun to wither. The river that flowed through the kingdom had slowed to a trickle, and a strange silence had fallen over the land. Rumours spread of a growing darkness at the forest’s edge, and the animals grew uneasy. Among them was a young fox named Lila, whose keen senses and quick wit had always set her apart. One night, as she lay awake beneath the stars, she overheard the elders whispering about an ancient prophecy—one that spoke of a chosen one who would save the kingdom in its darkest hour. Determined to protect her home, Lila decided to set out on a journey to uncover the truth behind the prophecy and to find the source of the darkness threatening Emberwood. With only her courage and a map passed down through generations, Lila ventured into the unknown, unaware of the incredible adventure that awaited her.
Lila was small but strong… the strongest of her siblings. She was determined to do this alone… but she knew deep down that back up would be needed. Her first thought was supplies. Lila had a big appetite and always won in a ‘who can eat the most’ challenge against her siblings. But she was a fox after all, and she could hunt down animals as easily as blinking. She packed a blanket, the map, a cup of magic sugar and the Lorina Flower, a flower only found in Emberwood, that is so magical… so perfect. It was a purple flower that contained the magic to make a person of your choice appear. It only had four petals, so you had to use it wisely or you could be in grave danger. Lila closed her rucksack and then decided who she would trust, whom would be powerful, brave, strong enough to be on this dangerous mission… and that person was her older brother, Max. She was about to set off to find him when a voice said behind her “No, Lila. Don’t do this. Please.” Lila turned around slowly, ready to pounce on the person who disturbed her thoughts. It was her father.;Lila ventured out to discover the darkness that is trying to get Emberwood destroyed first she wandered about the forest trying to find her way out. It was pitch black so she couldn’t see that well but she manged to get out of the forest up to a cliff edge where she camped out overnight the at sunset she forgot her way back and her only option was to jump off into the river at the bottom of the cliff so she did she counted to three and jumped. WEEEEEE!!! she jumped off and got her clothes all wet but luckily she didn’t get her bag wet and her bag had a few pares of spear dry clothes. Lila got changed behind a tree then set off and as she was walking she saw something that made her jaw drop to the floor it was… .;””Sure you can come ! “” responded Lila. So they set of their adventure. After weeks of venturing, they discovered the realm of fishland, a magical, whimsical and gorgeous place which even better, has the cure for the despicable darkness. “”Who’s that?”” Abby said fearfully, what abby saw was something to definitely be fearful of it was a massive group of hyenas looking ready to pounce on the 2 foxes “”I’ve got this!”” Lila exclaimed and walloped the head hyena in the face! The hyena howled out loud then ran off, their minions following. “;

“Take that you coward!” Lila yelled after him.
“L-Lila?” Abby said fearfully.
“Yep?” Lila said quietly.
“Y-You just m-managed to thump a h-hyena!” Abby said incredulously.
“Yeah, and your problem is? Stop being a puff and follow me!”
They both journeyed further into the forest, until Abby was pretty sure they were in The Heart of the Forest, which was full of terrible creatures and… and… Well. Nobody knew much about it because hardly anyone dared to journey that deep into the forest except… Lila’s father of course. And, in Lila’s mind, if daddy could do it, so could she, and that was the only reason she was willing to continue other then the fact that she was determined to save Emberwood before the end of the week at the most. Abby and Lila padded further and further until it was so dark the couldn’t see each other at all. WERE HEAR… I KNOW IT. Lila thought. “Lila… let’s go back… please Lila, it’s too-“
“No.”
“But… please Lila-“
“No!”
“But-“
“NOOOOOO!” Lila roared.
She fell silent. She thought she saw something in the trees. And it was moving. Abby whimpered. Lila put a finger to her lips, her eyes still on the trees because it had moved again. “L-L-Lila?” Abby whispered, her voice croaky. The thing in the trees stopped. THEN IT CAME TOWARDS THEM. Abby groaned. Lila pulled her back then started running, even though about five minutes ago she told herself she wasn’t a coward. The creature was running after them THEN IT POUNCED. The last thing Lila heard or saw was big tongue and long sharp teeth and Abby’s screams. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”

When lila began her journey she was sooooo scared she did not want to do it but she had to but just then someone approached her are u ok? the fox said,lila said who are u why are u here she said,my name Abigail i came here to see if u were alright i see ur on a mission can i help u? UMMMMMMMMMMMM of corse u can lila said but just as they took one step A STUPID TRAP FELL ON LILA, LILA! shouted Abigail. Are u alright? Lila did not reply she said it again but louder LILA ARE U ALRIGHT!!!!!!! still no reply she used her sharp claws to scrape down the metel bars she tryed to wake Lila up but she couldn’t but then lila woke up it was juat a sleeping potion but they still had a journy to try meet the king.After 5hr they finally found him but…IT WAS THE WRONG ONE!!!!!!!!! they never knew what would come next…

It was he wolf king, desprately hungry, one look at them and off he went. Lila decided it was time to scarper.She lifted Abby onto her back and ran for her life, the wolf not far behind.They escaped somehow though but Lila was determined to save Emberwood. How? She didn’t know. When? Perhaps never. Her home would crumble and die down. Ohhhhhh nooo. Lila and abby fell down, falling into a deep slumber under a big tree…
