We heard all about Burns\u2019 time spent living in Irvine and the important people in his life who inspired and supported him to write such timeless poetry and songs.<\/p>\n<div Firstly they had to pick the last of this seasons fruits. They then removed all the old vegetation, ready for the new planting season. We even had an exciting visit from one of our pupil&#8217;s chickens. The Ungrateful Tiger. We have collaborated together to create a P6 song about gratitude. All pupils worked incredibly well together to demonstrate fantastic lyrical awareness. Pupils then created a poster sharing what they are each grateful for. All pupils were able to describe what gratitude is and share an example of what they are grateful for.\u00a0 Pupils then put their artistic skills to the test to sketch a realistic tiger using pencil and follow a tutorial to create a cartoon tiger using pen. acute, right, obtuse, straight and reflex angles. P6 have also been creating scaled drawings of the Titanic and her propellers using chalk, string and measuring tools.<\/p>\n<p>We have also been exploring Mobius loops and strips to create sculptures and developing problem solving.
