Term 1<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Adventurers Curriculum Outline Term 1 25.26<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

We have settled well into new routines in The Adventurers. We have been eating lunch in the dinner hall each day with our friends.<\/span> For our topic, we have been learning about people who help us and had a visit from the Community Campus police officer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the children went to the McMillan Coffee Morning and enjoyed juice and cakes. The boys and girls have been going to assembly each week and <\/span>are engaging with the songs and stories<\/span> and <\/span>receiving Star of the Week <\/span>certifica<\/span>tes.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Term 2<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Adventurers Curriculum Outline Term 2<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

We have been learning about different events that take place through the autumn months. We have discussed<\/span>\u00a0and taken part in activities relating\u00a0<\/span>to Diwali<\/span>, Bonfire Night<\/span>, Halloween, <\/span>Remembrance<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Day<\/span>\u00a0and St Andrews Day<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have been taking our learning outdoors and collecting natural resources<\/span>, in bags we had decorated,<\/span>\u00a0in the local area<\/span>. We\u00a0<\/span>then spent time sorting and categorising them<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>used what we had collected to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>make<\/span>\u00a0a picture using leaves.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Adventurers have taken part in lots of extra activities this term. Some children attended the\u00a0<\/span>pantomime,<\/span>\u00a0and some boys and girls had fun at the coffee morning. We were all treated to<\/span>\u00a0a fun session with<\/span>\u00a0Music Ali<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>All of<\/span>\u00a0our children performed wonderfully on the stage in the Christmas Show and enjoyed their Christmas dinner at lunchtime.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Term 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Adventurers Curriculum Outline Term 3<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

This term the children have been learning about ‘My Body’ as part of their Health and Wellbeing topic. We drew round one of their friends then painted and labelled correctly.<\/p>\n

The boys and girls enjoyed a trip to Eglington Park on the new school minibus. They had so much fun splashing in the puddles and playing on the trampoline. We are excited to plan our next adventure.<\/p>\n
