Happy Holiday from all the Staff at Elderbank!

It has been a strange time for all of us since our doors closed on the 23rd March. Working from home and learning at home became the new normal, we clapped for keyworkers on a Thursday night and put rainbows in our windows. It is now time for all of us to have a well earned break.

The staff at Elderbank have been working very hard to get the school ready for August and have done a wonderful job.

We would like to say a fond farewell to our Primary 7s, we wish you all well as you journey into Secondary School and we give a warm welcome to the Early Year children who will be joining us and to our brand new Primary 1 pupils. We look forward to seeing you all.

Please check out our Term 4 blogs where you might see some familiar faces and the Early Years give us a treat with their talent show entries and Graduation photos.

Elderbank BSL Stars!

Congratulations to the 12 members of Elderbank Primary, Early Years, Supported Learning and Enhanced Deaf Provision staff  who achieved their Level 2 British Sign Language Qualification.

It is quite an achievement! A big thank you to their trainer, Mrs Boyle for her fantastic support as their tutor.

Elderbank Updates

It is the last week of the strangest session we have ever experienced here at Elderbank. Thank you to all our pupils and families for their support and patience  throughout these unsettled and uncertain times.

Keep an eye on the school app and website for updates this week. We are still enjoying seeing and sharing your home activities whether it is work for school, Early Years Challenges, family activities or at play.

It’s looking like an indoors day today. Let’s hope the good weather returns soon!

Elderbank Mascot Competition

We would like to say a big thank you and well done to all the children who entered our school mascot competition.  The standard was extremely high and it was clear people had put a lot of thought in to their entries.

Choosing the winners was not easy and was put to vote.  We are delighted to announce the winners are Tia for the infants and Teigan for the upper school.  Their designs have been used to create our very own Elderbank Achievement Certificates.  Congratulations to them and well done to everyone who entered.
