P7-6 Curriculum Outline – Term 3 2021-22

We enjoyed playing bench-ball at PE. We focused on passing accurately to our team mates whilst the opposing team attempted to intercept the ball. We practised marking our opponents to help us keep possession of the ball. We had to pass the ball to our goal keeper to win a point!

Our Primary 7 children were delighted to receive their leavers hoodies. They all look very smart and grown up!

During our science lesson we were using information handling and data analysis skills to investigate the number of survivors and use of lifeboats during the sinking of Titanic. We interpreted the written information, calculated totals and percentages before displaying the details in a pictogram style graph.

We have been working hard to learn and apply our SHORS reading strategies to help with our understanding of text. We used a recipe to practise our monitoring skills by highlighting any unfamiliar words, writing what we thought the word meant and then checked our predictions by looking up the definitions in the dictionary.
