What a super busy start we have had to 2020! Our photos show us practicing our badminton skills at gym, researching information to create a fact file about our topic ‘Scotland and Kenya’ and creating ‘snowball catapults’ in S.T.E.M We had lots of fun trying out our catapults to see how far our snowballs (mini marshmallows) went.
Our photos this month show us preparing for the Christmas Fayre and participating in a S.T.E.M challenge with our visiting guest Mr. Dreyer. The challenge was based on our topic of Titanic where we had to create a boat from junk materials that floated on water. We were all super successful learners!
It has been a very busy month in P6D! Our photos show us estimating and measuring volume as part of our numeracy lessons, creating our own Titanic for our topic using a range of materials and creating posters about staying safe around medicines as part of our health and wellbeing topic!
It has been another busy month in P6 and we can’t believe our first term is almost done! Our photos show us creating our fantastic autumn art where we focussed on using a layering technique. During S.T.E.M we designed and built cars using a variety of materials with a partner. Our photos also show us working with Dr. Fields using the virtuali-tee to see the vital organs in the human body. We thought it was amazing!
We have had a busy first month in P6 and we are enjoying being back at school! Our photos show us completing different S.T.E.M challenges and working on different art and activities for our topic ‘The Nowhere Emporium’.
