Blether and a Brew

Pupils from P7 recently welcomed visitors from Age Concern for a ‘Blether and a Brew’. Pupils baked and served scones and drinks to the visitors and musicians performed a medley of songs from the movies. This was a thoroughly successful afternoon and enjoyed by all. Elderbank hope to make further links with Age Concern next session.

Count on Us

As part of the “Elderbank has Excellence” talent show, the staff decided that they would make a contribution by starring in a music video with an important message for pupils and parents alike. Please follow the link below to watch the Elderbank Staff in action.

P2/3 Councillor Visit

Primary 2/3 celebrated their end of term topic with a visit from local councillor Christina Larson.  The children took turns to talk about how their topic had progressed from talking about what makes a community a nice place to live, to putting together their very own action plan.  Christina promised to take this back to her community action team.  Well done primary 2/3 in proving yourselves to be confident individuals, successful learners, effective contributors and responsible citizens!!

Footballing Success

Congratulations to our Primary 6 and Primary 7 football team who participated in a local tournament at the weekend.  The pupils were a credit to the school and showed great team spirit against tough opposition.  In the end, the team finished in a creditable 3rd place.  Well done to all of those who took part!
