We will be encouraging pupils to take part in the Big Pedal event following their return to school after the Easter Break. Please follow the links below to access further information regarding this.
Sophie (P5), Kimberley (P3) and Keeva (P4) were the well deserved winners of the Pupil Council’s Easter competition. All girls were delighted with their prizes!
House Point Treat
Eglinton were the lucky winners of the house point treat this term. The pupil council suggested a different type of treat this term….an Easter Egg Hunt! Pupils had great fun hunting for clues in groups of 4 to unscramble an Easter anagram. They finished with an Easter colouring sheet, a drink and a yummy chocolate egg!
Here are details of the school meal options being offered in our dining hall on Thursday 22nd March.
During Book Week all pupils took part in a competition organised by Miss Rankin and the library committee. The Early Years – Primary 4 pupils had to design their very own book worm using a variety of collage materials. Sophie (P4) was the worthy winner. The Primary 5 – 7 pupils had to design an alternative book cover for their favourite book. Sara (P7) was the winner and designed a new cover for her class novel, ‘Wonder’ by R.J. Palacio. Well done girls and enjoy your prizes.
Please note that due to improving weather conditions, Elderbank Primary and Early Years will re-open tomorrow, Friday 2nd March.
