Macmillan Coffee Morning

We recently held our annual Macmillan coffee morning to raise funds for the charity.  The event was well attended and enjoyed by pupils and parents alike.

A big thank you to those who donated home baking for the event and to those who offered their support on the day.

The school raised a total of £897 – a fantastic amount!

STV Appeal

On Friday, Elderbank Primary and Early Years held a fundraising day in aid of the STV Children’s Appeal.  A series of events were held including a bike-a-thon, guess the weight of the cake and cake sale.

The school was visited by celebrity weather man Sean Batty along with Kilmarnock F.C. goalkeeper Devlin MacKay.

On the day, pupils donated money in return for dressing in the colours of the rainbow.  Pupils also got together for a singing and signing event where over 400 pupils and staff performed “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”.

The event was a great success and raised a total of £814 for the appeal.  A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this important cause and to those who helped with organisation on the day.
