As part of National Book Day celebrations, pupils from Elderbank were treated to a book themed lunch last week.  Pupils were also assigned the task of providing reading related work to help decorate the dining hall with.  The outcome has been the creation of a fantastic “Wall of Work”. Well done to everyone for the brilliant contribution!

On the 7th of February, we hosted our annual Burns Supper in honour of the great poet, Robert Burns.  There was plenty of entertainment on show from poetry recitals to live music and even Scottish dancing.  A meal of haggis, neeps and tatties took centre stage and was enjoyed by everyone.  The event was a great success and will be a hard act to follow next year!  Well done to everyone involved in making this an exciting part of our busy school calendar.dsc01665

As part of our continued efforts to maintain our Green Flag status as an eco-school, pupils from Elderbank recently took part in a litter picking exercise around the school grounds.  Take time to look at our photos too see how we got on.
