The EAL Service offers eligible pupils the opportunity to achieve National 5 and Higher ESOL qualifications. These qualifications are offered as an alternative to National 5 and Higher English.<\/p>\n
Both courses involve developing skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. EAL Teachers see pupils for four periods every week, with a prelim in February and final exams in May.<\/p>\n
