On the 4th March EAL learners from across North Ayrshire attended the Discover the Diversity of the Human Body event at Glasgow University. The learners were treated to a tour of the Anatomy Tour and Interactive Workshops & Demonstrations.

On Monday 27^th November, four EAL pupils attended a day visit to The Beatson Cancer Research Institute in Glasgow. The pupils are all interested in studying Medicine and medical sciences at university and they learned about cell cultures, histology and computation biology. They toured the drosophila labs and completed a scavenger hunt in the imaging department. They were also given the chance to participate in pipetting and chatted to scientists and medics about their experiences and studies.
