School Uniform

We think it is very important that all children within school try to wear school uniform.  School uniform creates a feeling of openness and belonging, gives the children a clear identity and promotes a positive community ethos.  It has been found that wearing a uniform helps to focus children’s attention and raise their own expectation of themselves.

We encourage our children to wear their uniform with pride.

The uniform within Dreghorn Primary School is a Grey sweatshirt/cardigan with the school badge embroidered on it.  Worn with this is a white polo shirt or shirt/blouse, a school tie and black trousers/skirt.

Parents/carers can order their uniform from www.schoolwearmadeeasy.com

We also have a ‘Nearly New’ station in the school.  Here, parents can donate uniforms that are clean and in good condition and other families can take away what they need.  No need to ask or pay.  Everything is up for grabs! #COTSD
