Parents of children entering Primary 6 and up must apply.<\/p>\n<h3>Can I get help with these costs?<\/h3>\n<p>We may be able to help you with these school costs if your child attends primary or secondary school and you receive\u00a01 of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Income Support<\/li>\n<li>Income based Jobseeker&#8217;s Allowance<\/li>\n<li>Any income related element of Employment and Support Allowance<\/li>\n<li>Child Tax Credit only (with income under \u00a317,005)<\/li>\n<li>Both Working Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit (with an income up to \u00a37,920)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Universal Credit where the monthly earned income does not exceed \u00a3660<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Families will be eligible for a\u00a0<strong>Clothing Grant only<\/strong>\u00a0if in receipt of one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working Tax Credit and\/or Child Tax Credit with an annual income of \u00a317,005 or less<\/li>\n<li>Universal Credit with monthly earned income of not more than \u00a31417<\/li>\n<li>Council Tax Reduction\/Housing Benefit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>Article 26: My family should get the money they need to help bring me up<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Educational grants: footwear, clothing and free school meals\u00a0 We provide free school meals and \u00a3120 (per child) for primary school children and \u00a3150 (per child) for secondary school children worth of school footwear and clothing to children whose parents are on certain benefits.
