Meals are freshly prepared, with seasonal ingredients:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>eggs from cage-free hens<\/li>\n<li>meat from animals farmed to British Welfare Standards<\/li>\n<li>fish from sustainable sources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Menus are free from GM ingredients and undesirable additives, with at least 15% organic ingredients, including\u00a0vegetables, dry goods and milk.<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s for lunch?<\/h3>\n<h1 class=\"page-title\">School lunches<\/h1>\n<p>Where possible, we use local produce to freshly prepare meals, using seasonal ingredients. We use:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li class=\"list-item\">eggs from cage free hens<\/li>\n<li class=\"list-item\">meat from animals farmed to British Welfare Standards<\/li>\n<li class=\"list-item\">fish from sustainable sources<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"sc-jUhsXd hqiIpa heading-2 \">Special dietary needs<\/h2>\n<p>We can cater for pupils who have special dietary needs because of:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li class=\"list-item\">medical reasons<\/li>\n<li class=\"list-item\">religion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Children with medical dietary needs should have been referred to, and met with, a NHS Dietician.<\/p>\n<p>If your child has special dietary needs, please inform your Head Teacher. They will send you a Special Diet Request form to fill in and return to your school.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"sc-jUhsXd hqiIpa heading-2 \">Primary school menu<\/h2>\n<p>There are 3 menus rotated on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"link-focus-standard\" href=\"https:\/\/www.north-ayrshire.gov.uk\/Document-library\/menu-ps.pdf\">Primary school menu<span class=\"sr-only\">document<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>All options are \u00a32.05 and include a main meal, or a snack meal (baked potato or sandwich), with either a starter or a sweet. Snack meals include a piece of fresh fruit.
