These include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>analysing and creating straightforward media content, as appropriate to purpose, audience and context<\/li>\n<li>knowledge of the key aspects of media literacy, as appropriate to content<\/li>\n<li>knowledge of the role of media within society<\/li>\n<li>knowledge of contextual factors, constraints and freedoms that affect producers of media content<\/li>\n<li>straightforward evaluation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>How will I be assessed?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Assessment is through exam-style assessments completed in-class. There is also a practical project which will be completed within class time.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Is this course right for me?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This course is best for those who want to try a brand-new subject alongside their other S3 courses.
