These are short courses which will only be offered to S5 or S6 pupils who wish to add more breadth and/or depth to their range of courses undertaken or achieved to date. For S5 pupils, there is an expectation that they will undertake a minimum of 5 National courses but could take one of these to supplement their timetable. Each course will be a Level 4-6 Award/Unit and will not require a full allocation of time (ie 5 periods) to deliver them.
- Dance NPA – Level 5 – 3 period allocation
- Events NPA – Level 6 – 3 period allocation
- PE Performance Unit – Level 5 or 6 – 2 period allocation
- NC Sport and Fitness – Level 5 – 3 period allocation
- Young STEM Leader Programme – Level 4, 5 or 6 (S6 only) – 3 period allocation
