The online world can be a bit overwhelming at times but it is important we understand what our children are doing online so we can help make them safer. The Safer Schools Scotland App aims to help with this.

We are delighted to invite you to download our new Safer Schools Scotland App provided by our school insurance provider Zurich Municipal.  This new version of the app is aligned to the Scottish curriculum and contains news and updates that reflect the online landscape and trends affecting Scotland.

The App is designed to support and protect children by educating and empowering them both at school and at home. Through their log-in, your children get access to information that is relevant to them and you will receive tips and advice on how to keep them safer online.

After downloading the app from the Google Play or Apple App store users can use a four digit code or QR code to log into their school’s app.  We will be issuing our unique code via GroupCall, so watch out for details.

In addition to the Safer Schools Scotland App we also have access to a ‘Our Safety Centre’ which is a hub is designed to provide you with online safety information and advice that is easy to access and simple to understand.  It uses short videos and step-by-step prompt cards to ensure you have a safer online experience.  Click HERE to visit.
