P4 have had a very busy and exciting first term. Our topic this term has been Minibeasts and Habitats. We have been investigating different types of minibeasts and learning about how and where they live. One of our learning activities was going on a Minibeast Safari to find out which minibeasts live around our school. Some of us were even brave enough to touch them!
In Health and Wellbeing we have been learning all about recycling. We designed our very own litter monster recycling bins to encourage people to recycle and not to litter. Then we collected recyclable materials and made models of our designs. Thank you to all parents and relatives who helped us with our junk collection!
To finish off our topic we have created Powerpoint presentations about our favourite minibeast and presented them to the class. Here are pictures of some of us presenting…
We are looking forward to the next term and our new topic which will be Scotland. We will be learning all about Scottish culture and about our local area.
Happy holidays!
