A \u201cCAPTCHA\u201d is a Turing test to tell human and bots apart. It is easy for humans to solve, but hard for \u201cbots\u201d and other malicious software to figure out.<\/p>\n<p>The reCAPTCHA message is generated when\u00a0 Google notices unusual traffic from your computer network.\u00a0 This activity could be anywhere on the Moray Council network, so not necessarily in your school or classroom.\u00a0 The message will usually stop 24 to 48 hours after Google has established the risk has been removed.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some suggestions to allow you to continue with your online activity &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>Use an alternative search engine &#8211; Bing, Yahoo etc.\n<ul>\n<li>Type the search engine address directly into the address bar at the top of the Chrome browser, for example <a href=\"http:\/\/bing.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bing.com<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you know the website address you are trying to access type the address\u00a0 directly into the address bar.\n<ul>\n<li>For frequently visited sites add them to your bookmarks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Complete the Turning test to prove you are not a robot!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Digital Learning Team have been getting reports recently of educators and learners getting the following reCAPTCHA message when using Google as their search engine. reCAPTCHA is a free service from Google that helps protect users from spam and abuse.
