Hi everyone, my name is Gary Simpson, I am the Senior Youth Worker for Forres and Lossiemouth, this also includes Dyke, Alves, Dallas, Logie.
I am currently based in the Lodge at Forres Academy with my colleague Michaella Henderson, you can often find us in the main school building as we regularly in The Hub, Library or canteen.
I have been a youth worker for over 25 years working with young people from many different parts of Scotland but moved to Moray nearly 6 years ago with my family, I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren who all live nearby.
I now live in Kinloss, my hobbies include fishing, working on cars and motorbikes, DIY, being involved in live music, I used to play drums in a band and outdoor activities.
My job is to support young people by delivering activity sessions, transition support, wider achievement, support youth groups, and chat about any wellbeing issues you may have.
I am looking forward to meeting with you.

Hello Gary,
Robert Mckenna, here I am currently sitting as a board member of Transition Town Forres and am interested if we could be of help to you and your youth work. We have experienced facilitators, delivering cooking, gardening, environmental, and life skill classes.
If you think there could be potential for collaboration. Possibly design a programme. Look forward to hearing from you.
Best Wishes
Rob Mckenna
