Skills Development Scotland
We work closely with schools across Moray, supporting the My World of Work aspects of the School Partnership Agreements. Your local Partner Development and Integration Executive can help with:
- Delivery of the successful My World of Work School Ambassador programme
- Raising awareness and building capacity amongst teachers to use all the online resources available, including the recently developed Lesson Inserts
- Developing new Lesson Inserts. A simple way to link the curriculum with careers
We’ve also organised update and awareness sessions for other local partner organisations, including after care and follow-up sessions to ensure the efficient embedding of My World of Work in their services. This has included working with the Moray LA Career Management Skills Officer.
During this time of educational disruption My World of Work and Skills Development Scotland websites provide a number of opportunities for developing awareness of the skills and attirbutes required for the workplace.
Every pupil can log into My World of Work and access their profile. Completing the skills and interests tools and writing personal statements is an excellent way of preparing for the future.
