{"id":3926,"date":"2019-06-11T05:07:40","date_gmt":"2019-06-11T05:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/my\/alves\/?p=3926"},"modified":"2019-06-11T05:07:40","modified_gmt":"2019-06-11T05:07:40","slug":"monday-10th-june-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/my\/alves\/2019\/06\/11\/monday-10th-june-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Monday 10th June 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Lexi and Amy are updating the <strong>&#8216;Article of the month&#8217;<\/strong> and printing it\u00a0for the noticeboard on the bike shed.<\/p>\n<p>Katie and Lily are amending our <strong>whole school rights respecting calendar.<\/strong>\u00a0 All classes and groups to review this and use accordingly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rotakids planning<\/strong> &#8211; Mrs Blair and all other UNA members are creating a plan for taking Rotakids forward next year.\u00a0 This is what is happening&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>*<strong>Rotakids Youth Lunch<\/strong>????\u00a0 Mrs B and 2 representatives to attend and discuss plans for next year with other schools.<\/p>\n<p>*<strong>End Polio Now project<\/strong> &#8211; This is to be linked with Alves Community Hall.\u00a0 Speak with Shirley to see if we can plant crocus bulbs in the raised bed she spoke about.\u00a0 We can set up some sort of community presentation on end polio now to share with locals.<\/p>\n<p>*<strong>Partnerships with the Elderly<\/strong> &#8211; To promote Good HWB and Sustainable communities we are furthering our link with the elderly in forres community.\u00a0 We plan to invite them to Alves Funky Theatre (pm performance), hold an afternoon event to promote international day for the Older person (1st October) and have them at school to enjoy some music and movement\/low key enjoy a ball type activities.\u00a0 May have to speak with Sports Coordinators to create a session for this.\u00a0 Attend next years Daffodil Tea again after this years success.<\/p>\n<p>*International Links &#8211; Find out the needs of the school in Bunono and how we can best support.\u00a0 Research the school and get Anne from Rotakids in to support.\u00a0 Link this to Rights\/Goals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ambassadorial Work<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*Continue work with Shirley and Alves Community Hall.\u00a0 Reflected on our partnership and what Happened at Shirley&#8217;s visit last month.\u00a0 Intro on who she was and what Alves Hall can do to work with us.\u00a0 Talk of a craft club starting next year in the hall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>*<\/strong>Ark childcare &#8211; Mrs Blair to give Natalie Rights and Goals information and have a discussion on next steps.\u00a0 Mrs B to make links during transition visits next year.\u00a0 Invite a group of children for a visit to launch and inform (during UNA Monday slot).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Citizenship Award<\/strong> is all finalised and ready to be presented at this years end of year assembly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Challenge Day &#8211; <\/strong>UNA to work with other business groups to support them in holding an event with school\u00a0Peace Pole to promote awareness of international day for Peace.\u00a0 Invite Gavin Morgan to support, newspapers, elderly and UNICEF rep.<\/p>\n<p>Q &#8211; Why are adults still messing up OUR world?<\/p>\n<p><strong>PIP<\/strong> &#8211; Mr McLeman finalised the Pupils Improvement Plan as requested by UNICEF.\u00a0 On rights display at front of school for all to see.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>****Mason and Daniel took the ABCDE posters around groups to remind them of these.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8230; Lexi and Amy are updating the &#8216;Article of the month&#8217; and printing it\u00a0for the noticeboard on the bike shed.
