We have been learning our letter sounds. There are lots to learn and many ways we can have fun exploring them. We have been singing, making actions and dances, using sand, play dough and lots more.

First mark making
We are learning to use our froggy fingers to control the lines and patterns we make. we are trying hard to do our best work.
French with Tristan
We had a visitor to our French lessons recently. Tristan is the French assistant for the local Speyside schools and he came to tell us a little bit more about France. We played a game with colours and of course Camembear was there too.
The Owl Was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson
Both P1 and P2 have been working on a book this term all about a baby barn owl who did not like the dark. The classes got together this week to share our learning. We talked about our favourite parts of the original story(P1) and shared our own story about Plop the Owl(P2). The two classes worked well together and liked to see each others work.
