What is Chrome Music Lab?<\/h3>\n

Chrome Music Lab is a website that makes learning music more accessible through fun, hands-on experiments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

What can it be used for?<\/h3>\n

Many teachers have been using Chrome Music Lab as a tool in their classrooms to explore music and its connections to\u00a0science<\/a>,\u00a0math<\/a>,\u00a0art<\/a>, and more. They\u2019ve been combining it with\u00a0dance<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0live instruments<\/a>. Here\u2019s\u00a0a collection of some uses<\/a>\u00a0we\u2019ve found on Twitter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

How were these built?<\/h3>\n

All our experiments are all built with freely accessible web technology such as\u00a0Web Audio API<\/a>,\u00a0WebMIDI<\/a>,\u00a0Tone.js<\/a>, and more. These tools make it easier for coders to build new interactive music experiences. You can get the open-source code to lots of these experiments\u00a0here on Github<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
