P6a were busy researching, designing then creating their own board games this term.
We all had amazing ideas and the finished products look fab!
We also had to write a set of instructions to tell someone how to play the games.
Check out our pictures below!
P6 were really lucky to have Mrs Maitland come in and help finalise some designs. She had a focus group of 6 children who justified our thoughts so far and created some key areas. We are now going to look at furniture that will make those of these key areas. We would like to order some furniture by the end of the week!
We made a time lapse from the start of the day until lunch, showing what space we use in our classroom. Some of the children were only allowed to use the carpet, some could work in a group at their table and others were on their own desk and were working independently.
Thank you to everyone who came along to P6’s PAT PAL. It was great to see so many people there and for the learners to share some of the work we have been doing.

Primary 6B have been very busy recently designing their new learning space. We have been exploring different learning spaces around the world and using that to guide us. We each designed our own individual learning space, before sharing with a partner and creating one together. We then had to justify our design to another pair before creating one as a group of 4! We now have the challenge of making our final design, justifying our choices before choosing our furniture and fittings! We have 44,000 points to spend and still lots of work to do!
Miss Addis took a timelapse video to show us what areas of the classroom we currently use and it showed us that we only really use one area of the carpet and one seat each. We’re hoping to use more of our space when our new classroom is fitted!
