P 3/4 and I would like to thank everyone who came along to our PAT PAL session on Friday.
We had 3 stations set up;
Station 1 – spelling actvities – pupils demonstrated the different spelling activites we use to help practise our spelling words. The Play-Doh was a firm favourite.
Station 2 – Handwriting – Pupils were practising and sharing their learning about joining letters together. We used whiteboards and pens and Beat the Buzzer game proved a challenege.
Station 3 – Reading – Blooms Taxonomy – Remembering – We have been busy in class working on the skill of remembering. Pupils and their parents read an extract from Charlie and the Chocolate factory and we answered remembering questions on the text they read.
There was a real buzz in the room with lots of learning and sharing.
We recieved some great feedback – thank you to everyone that left feedback.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our next PAT PALS on Thursday 1st December – this will take place in the afternoon.
