Class Teacher:<\/strong> Mrs Valerio & Mrs Cooke<\/p>\n

Welcome to our P7\/6 class webpage! This is an important year for us as we are now in the upper school and have lots of opportunities and responsibilities to reflect this. We are role models for the younger pupils, with primary 7 becoming monitors and buddies, and primary 6 taking on the position of Playground Pals. Our job roles throughout the school will continue as the year progresses and we are excited to get involved in leading our learning!<\/span><\/p>\n

We are a hardworking and enthusiastic class who embrace the school. As a dialogic school, our classroom ethos is based around high quality talking and listening interactions, challenging each other\u2019s thinking, problem solving, and building on and respecting each other\u2019s views and opinions. We make personal targets and can talk about where we are in our learning, where we aim to go and how we are going to achieve this.<\/span><\/p>\n

A growth mindset is very important to us and we are not scared to try new things and make mistakes\u2026we know that mistakes are proof that we are learning! We consistently reflect on our weekly learning and achievements. Through this, we focus on our meta skills development and how these influence us as learners, in our life and for our future work.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our PE days are on a Tuesday and Friday. We will also be ensuring opportunities for outdoor learning and ask that pupils are suitably dressed for the weather.<\/span><\/p>\n
