What is the Rights Respecting School Initiative?<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n The Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA) recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) at the heart of a school\u2019s planning, policies, practice and ethos. A rights-respecting school not only teaches about children\u2019s rights but also models rights and respect in all its relationships: between pupils and adults, between adults and between pupils. UNICEF.ORG.UK.<\/p>\n What are children\u2019s rights?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) consists of 54 articles. A \u2018child\u2019 is defined as every human being below the age of 18.
